“We did the tour of Rio’s historic center and Santa Teresa with guide Renato and enjoyed it overall. The small group made the experience more personal, and Renato was agreeable, knowledgeable, and gave clear, interesting explanations. The only downside was that it took place on New Year’s Day, so the shops in the city center and the handicraft stores in Santa Teresa were closed. Otherwise, it was a pleasant and informative tour.”

“It was all so easy, I ubered it to the r2rio offices, we all got into a minivan and drove to Christ the Redeemer, right to the top. The staff were all so helpful and the guide was wonderful and knowledgeable. It is very winding when you get to the top so if like me you get car sick beware of this and sit at the front and dont eat breakfast or lunch. We did the 2.30pm tour which was good as there were less people. The only thing I would have liked was more time there as we only had 40 minutes. Dont forget to visit the little chapel…”

“We opted to take a private tour which cost us multiple over than the normal price for this tour in order to meet our ship departure time. Unfortunately, the day before the scheduled day for the tour. the operator contested that that the tour was private and was planning on having another guest on the tour with us to which we objected. He later apologized after we have told him how much we had paid for this tour when then he redeemed the situation by sending on a private taxi with its nice guide driver. Thereafter, the tour proceeding very well.. The pre-start was unsavory but the end was good.…”
